About us - The family behind Villa Apricot
Hello and welcome to our world – probably the craziest and most fun-loving group running a holiday home in Croatia! We are an Austrian-Croatian family who absolutely love our beautiful Villa Apricot and think it's a real shame to leave this little gem empty most of the time. That's why we've decided to share our little paradise by the sea with others. A holiday for you – joy for us!
Our family - your local team
Milenko
Our dad, Milenko, makes sure everything runs smoothly. He officially retired in 2020 – but resting is simply not his thing. Milenko takes care of everything that breaks, needs repairing, or could just look a little better – and believe us, there's always something to do! He also handles all the paperwork with incredible calm and patience. You can rely on him 100%. And if you ever fancy a game of cards – Milenko is your guy!
Diana
Our mother, Diana, is the heart of our family. With her warm and loving nature, she brings everyone together and makes sure no one is forgotten. She thinks of everything – from the smallest details to the biggest plans – and always puts others first. Whether it's a family celebration, a guest request, or simply a cherished memory, Diana is always one step ahead. She also keeps everyone together in our family business, fosters a harmonious atmosphere, and always has a listening ear – for guests as well as for us. Thanks to her, our family feels truly at home wherever we go.
Mateo
Mateo, our eldest son, is the family strategist. With him, nothing happens by chance – he plans everything meticulously, preferably three steps ahead. Technology and organization are his great passions. Without him, our Wi-Fi in Croatia would have long since collapsed, or our automatic check-in system would have driven us crazy!
Believe
When Tin, our middle son, gets going, sparks fly! As a car enthusiast and practical problem solver, he masters even the most complicated projects in record time. Technology isn't a challenge for him – it's pure fun, as long as there's action. Plus, he loves to talk, so good vibes and entertainment are guaranteed, even during the toughest tasks.
Marino
Our youngest brother, Marino, is the athlete in the family. His schedule is always packed, yet he manages everything perfectly. Marino loves clear rules and order – that's why everything runs so smoothly for him. We often joke that he's the smartest of us all – and secretly, we know there's a lot of truth to that.
Hard
And last but not least: our Aunt Lile. She's simply the kindest soul and the sunshine of our family. No matter who needs help – Lile is there, often even before you realize you need it! Hiking and nature are her great passions. And if you're looking for the most beautiful hiking trails or hidden gems in the area – nobody knows them better than Lile.
